A driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving but released without charge after a crash involving four vehicles including one that landed on its side along one of Powys’ busiest roads.
The A458 between Llanfair Caereinion and Cyfronydd was closed in both directions for around three hours on Saturday evening (July 27) causing travel disruption in the area.
Dyfed-Powys Police said officers arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of drink driving. He has since been released, with the force confirming that he faces "no further action at this time".

One person was also reported to have suffered minor injuries, the force added.
Emergency services including police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene after receiving a report of a collision at around 6.20pm.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said all the people involved in the crash were out of the vehicles by the time crews from Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion fire stations arrived at the scene.
"Casualties were checked by ambulance service personnel and fire and rescue service crews made all vehicles safe using small tools," a spokesperson for the fire service added.
