“Welshpool” has made an appearance in the latest Deadpool movie.
The latest much anticipated Marvel movie, Deadpool & Wolverine has seen a cameo of sorts for Welshpool.
Star, Ryan Reynolds, has been a big supporter of all things Welsh since taking over Wrexham AFC with fellow Hollywood star Rob McElhenney in 2020.

The film is based on the multiverse aspect of Marvel's Cinematic Universe.
With this there is a huge number of different Deadpools in the film, and one of them wears the iconic costume with three Welsh flags across the torso - the name for this Deadpool variant is “Welshpool”.

There is a even a rumour being circulated that “Welshpool” is being played by Wrexham player Paul Mullin
The sweary and irreverent Marvel movie is set to be one of the highest grossing films of the year and even had midnight openings for enthusiastic fans.
