Hafren Foresters Archery Club will be hosting a 24-hour charity fundraiser on Saturday (July 27).
This is an outdoor shoot in the field next to Season’s Cafe in Caersws where the club meets.
The event is attempting to raise money that will be equally split between the club, in order to purchase equipment to help support disability archery in the area, and Ponthafren, the mental health charity in Newtown.

A spokesperson for the archery club said: “The idea is that we maintain a minimum of two archers on the shooting line for the 24-hour period.
“Club members of all ages will be taking part and we are inviting members of the public to have a go at archery with us for a small donation when we start the event at midday on Saturday and also leading up to the end of the 24-hour period, from 10am on Sunday.
“We are an Archery GB affiliated club that has existed in the area since the 70s and we have coaches that have training and interest in disability sport.”
