Staff and pupils at a “calm and caring” north Powys primary school have celebrated their recent Estyn report.
Inspectors praised the 31-pupil Brynhafren Community Primary School in Crew Green as a “happy and inclusive school where pupils thrive”.
In the newly-released report, Estyn said: “It is a joyful and friendly community where a sense of being part of one big family permeates all aspects of the school’s work.
“The headteacher, staff and governors provide the school with strong leadership. They know the school well and effectively identify its strengths and areas for improvement.”
