One person has been arrested in connection with a crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on a Powys road.
The 60-year-old biker died in a road traffic collision on a stretch of the A470 near Newbridge-on-Wye in Powys on Friday. Police have now confirmed one person has been arrested.
Dyfed Powys Police have launched an appeal for any witnesses who may information on the crash, which happened at approximately 4.50pm on Friday, July 19.

A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “Sadly, a 60-year-old male motorcyclist died as a result of the collision. Their next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
“The road was closed for a number of hours for collision investigation and vehicle recovery.
“One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone travelling the A470 between Newbridge-on-Wye and LLanwrthwl at that time who may have witnessed the incident.
“Officers are particularly keen to hear from any motorists with a dash cam fitted to their vehicles.”
