A stretch of the A470 in Powys was shut due to a collision, with emergency services reportedly at the scene.
Dyfed Powys Police closed a stretch of the A470 between Carno and Commins Coch for several hours because of a collision at approximately 12pm on Sunday, July 21,

Drivers were advised to find alternative routes for their journey, with the collision reportedly happening between Talerddig and Dolfach.
Dyfed Powys Police said via social media: “A470 Carno - Commins Coch. The road is currently closed due to a collision
“Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.”

According to some initial posts shared in North Powys Community Travel Alerts, ambulance and fire services were also at the scene.
The road was re-opened at approximately 2pm.
