A man will be sentenced by a judge for inflicting grievous bodily harm at a popular Welshpool pub.
Jeremy Trow, 48, pleaded guilty to an alternative GBH charge which was accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service on Friday, July 17.
Trow admitted assaulting David Owen at The Angel pub in Berriew Street on March 11, 2023.
He was ordered to return to Mold Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, August 22.

His Honour Judge Rhys Rowlands told the Leighton View man that his guilty plea was "important and attracts credit".
"I have ordered a full pre-sentence report, but you mustn't read into that," the judge said.
"All sentencing options including custody are on the table. You will get credit so there will be a reduction for pleading guilty."
Trow was granted unconditional bail not to contact Mr Owen.
