A person was rescued off Cadair Idris after sustaining a head injury.
Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team were called out to the popular mountain not far from Powys' county boundary last weekend (July 13) after a walker suffered a serious injury.
The team were called out around midday after reports of a walker who had fallen and sustained a head injury whilst climbing the Minfford path.

A rescue team was quickly assembled and sent up to assist and due to the severity of the injury they had to stretcher the person to the the car park where they were then taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team said: “At 12:45 on Saturday, the team were called out to a walker who had fallen on Cadair Idris and sustained a head injury.
“A team member who was out on the hill quickly diverted to the casualties location and a hasty party made their way up with medical kit.
“Due to the seriousness of the head injury, the casualty was stretchered down to the Minffordd car park and transported to hospital for further treatment.”
