A COURT has issued an arrest warrant for a Llandrindod Wells woman after she failed to attend a hearing for drug driving.
Lisa Meredith, 42, is charged with two counts of drug driving in the spa town on January 6 this year.
It is alleged Meredith, of Trefonen Way, had both cocaine and cannabis in her system when she was stopped on Waterloo Road in January.
Meredith is said to have had 207 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine – a compound of Class A cocaine – in her blood; the legal limit is 50. It is also said she had 2.2 micrograms of cannabis in her system – the legal limit is 2.
Meredith did not appear at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 17, and the bench ordered a warrant for her arrest, not backed for bail.
