The A470 has reopened this morning after being closed for almost five hours while Dyfed-Powys Police dealt with a crash on the road.
One of the main routes through the north of the county was shut from about 1.15 am until just after 6am on Sunday (July 14) because of a crash.
The incident meant the closure of a stretch of the road between Talerddig and Llanbrynmair.
Traffic Wales issued a message saying the road was closed because of a "police incident".
In a separate statement the police force confirmed it was a collision, and asked people to avoid the area.
Dyfed-Powys have yet to update on the incident, but Traffic Wales tweeted at 6.05am that the road was open.
