In the latest General Election Labour’s ‘landslide’ victory was based on their winning 65% of seats in the House of Commons, yet they only received 33.7% of all the votes cast.
I find it hard to understand how one political party can reasonably have a mandate to govern our country for the next five years when two-thirds of voters gave their support to other parties.
