A ROAD leading to a Powys beauty spot was closed for several hours on Wednesday (July 10) following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
Dyfed Powys Police said the accident occurred on the B4518 between Rhayader and the Elan Valley at around midday on Wednesday, resulting in the road being closed for around four hours.

“Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the B4518 between Rhayader and the Elan Valley at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, July 10,” said the force in a statement.
“The road was closed whilst the vehicles were recovered before reopening just after 4pm. No injuries were reported.”
The two vehicles involved were a silver Volvo and a lorry.
