Work will soon start to build new council homes in Newtown which is expected to take place over 17 months.
The former Robert Owen House site in Trehafren will have 31 one-bedroom flats once completed.
Councillor David Selby told residents this week that they will receive a letter from builders J Harper and Sons with the project manager’s contact details.

He added that the building period for the “much-needed” apartments is estimated to be 73 weeks.
“Any issues during the build should be raised with the project manager or with me,” Cllr Selby added.
