NEW Radnor Carnival attracted a record number of people last Saturday, June 29 - and even the weather decided to play ball.
A crew from Presteigne Fire Station led the carnival procession around the village. Barbie won the best float with Super Mario winning best walkers.
Carnival-goers were well rewarded for turning out. There was live entertainment featuring Phil Ram and The Manana Kids, and there were plenty of activities for the children too, including a massive bouncy castle assault course, as well as an animal petting corner.
A brilliant day was had by all and thanks must go to the carnival committee for managing to put together a brilliant day of entertainment.
