Now, its chief is asking locals and supporters to back it by playing the Powys Lotto.

“Our objective is to negotiate a favourable lease of the venue, to keep the venue in the hands of the local community for the foreseeable future,” said managing director Jase Hawker.

“There are some serious underlying repair and maintenance issues at the Pavilion which Powys County Council would like us to assume responsibility for, which we, as a not for profit organisation, simply cannot do.

County Times:

“We are unable to do this without appropriate funding. We are not funded by Powys County Council or Arts Council Wales.

“We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service.”

You can support Pavilion Mid Wales via the lotto as it looks to secure £1,300 to put towards the lease. Visit https://t.ly/M9wGf to find out more or to play.
