Mountain rescue teams were called out twice in a week to an iconic spot in the Brecon Beacons.
Teams from the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called to Pen-y-Fan twice in a week last month to rescue missing and injured walkers.
The team were first called out on June 15 after being called to help the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team after a walker went missing while climbing the famous peak.
The conditions were tricky but thankfully the walker was found by an event being held on the hill.
A spokesperson for the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: “The team were called to assist Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team with a missing walker in the Pen y Fan area.
“The conditions were quite unfavourable but thankfully the missing person was located by event organisers on top of Pen y Fan.
“Even though they were not part of the event, the organisers got them into a tent to feed and rewarm them until team members arrived and walked them off to safety.”

A spokesperson for the team added: “A call to assist Central Beacons with a casualty on Pen y Fan with head and knee injuries.
“The casualty was treated and transported off the hill to safety.
“We wish them a quick recovery.”
