BUILTH Wells Ladies Choir hosted a successful summer charity concert last month, raising more than £800 for the Brain Tumour Charity.
The event, held at Wesley Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 19, was a harmonious blend of community spirit which raised a total of £823.
The choir was supported by pupils from Builth Wells Primary School, who had competed in the National Urdd Eisteddfod in Meifod over the May half term, and added a youthful energy to the evening.
The concert also featured a performance by local singer Mair Davies, who was accompanied by Sam Powell, further enhancing the musical experience for attendees.
The funds raised from this event will be donated to the choir's nominated charity for the year, the Brain Tumour Charity. Their contribution will support the charity's ongoing efforts to combat brain tumours and provide support for those affected.
