ESSENTIAL maintenance and resurfacing work will mean road users driving on a major part of the A483 in Powys will be affected for two weeks starting next week.
The works will affect the A483 between Dolfor and Llanbadarn Fynydd from Wednesday, July 3, to Tuesday, July 16, between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
Essential carriageway maintenance and resurfacing work will be undertaken during these dates.
What's happening?
July 3: Narrow sections of carriageway will require a full closure of the A483 and a signed diversion route will be in place for all traffic to ensure a safe working area for operatives between the hours of 8am-8pm.
July 4-5: Single lane work involving traffic management, lane closure and convoy working with a 10mph speed limit in place throughout the works between the hours of 8am-8pm.

Emergency Service vehicles, buses and local resident access will be maintained at all times. All other traffic in the area is to utilise the appropriate diversion route.
