Fire crews were called out in Powys after a large pile of manure caught fire.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Crews from Newtown and Llanidloes were called out yesterday evening (June 28) after a large quantity of muck caught fire near Caersws.
According to the service, 50 square metres of manure was alight when they got to the scene.

Crews battled the blaze for over an hour, using hose reel jets to dampen the fire.
A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 4.49pm on Thursday, June 27, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newtown and Llanidloes Fire Stations were called to an incident near Caersws.
“Crews extinguished a muck pile that had caught on fire, measuring approximately 10m by 5m, and continued to damp down the area using one hose reel jet.
“The crews left the scene at 6.37pm.”
