Dozens of businesses and stalls are set to return to Welshpool as the town prepares to hold a continental market again this summer.
Following a successful market event in June 2023, Welshpool’s continental market will return on Thursday, July 4, and run until Sunday, July 7.
The event, organised with Market Place Europe, saw several businesses put stalls up along Welshpool High Street when the town hosted its first continental market with the group on June 30, 2023.

At the time, Market Place Europe co-founder Allan Hartwell said: “Welshpool and its town council have been wonderful to work with, a very responsive and welcoming community.
“I was approached by the town council while at a conference and paid a visit to the town, where I decided had all the makings to be a good opportunity for a market.
“We run various markets across the country, at least 50 over the course of a year, and we always try to tailor each market to suit the site we visit.
“We’re very confident about Welshpool in terms of what a market like this can do for the town, both for the stalls and visiting businesses but also the existing shopkeepers on its high street, who have all been very welcoming.”
