A POWYS woman’s drink drive trial is now scheduled to take place in August after the original trial was vacated this week.
Kathleen Clayton, 41, of Ash Meadow, Kerry, is charged with driving an Audi Q2 on the A489 at Kerry on August 23, 2023, when she was over the legal drink drive limit.
Clayton, it is said, had a reading of 62 micrograms of alcohol in her breath – the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Clayton’s case had been due for trial on June 24, but Welshpool Magistrates’ Court heard this week that it had been vacated as additional statements needed to be served.
The trial is now set to take place on August 19.
