A POWYS man accused of affray and assaulting three people – including his mother – is to face trial later this year after denying all charges against him.
Kody Cook, 20, denied a total of five offences put to him at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Thursday, June 27.
Cook, of Pendre, Brecon, denied assaulting his mother, Zoe Cook, on May 22 this year.
He also denied a second assault on his mum the following day, May 23, as well as assaults on Nathan Williams and Olivia Okunye that day. Cook also denied a charge of affray on May 23.
Kathryn Lane, representing Cook, said her client denies all of the allegations.
A trial, scheduled to last 3-4 days, will begin at Merthyr on November 5.
Cook was remanded into custody, where he has been since his arrest.
