Llanfyllin Football Club completed a three peaks challenge they set for themselves to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
On June 22, members of Llanfyllin Town FC tackled the three peaks of Wales: Snowdon in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the South.
They took on the challenge as a way to raise money for the club as well as their chosen charity, Breast Cancer UK, having raised over £800 for through the challenge so far.
Writing on their GoFundMe page, the club said: “An amazing team of willing and slightly crazy volunteers have put themselves forward to take a Great Summer Challenge, by tackling the Welsh Three Peaks.

“Donations will help to support Llanfyllin Town Football Club and our chosen charity, Breast Cancer UK.
“This year will mark 30 years since the first Llanfyllin Challenge and 10 years since the British Three Peaks.”
The group took on Pen y Fan first, then Cadair Idris, before saving the tallest until last as they headed up Snowden as their final hurdle.
On completing the challenge, the said via social media: “It’s been a fantastic experience today for everyone involved.”
