Powys County Council have said that work to knock down a former school in South Powys will start next week.
The former Bronllys school, has been unoccupied since its closure in 2017, and it is now scheduled for demolition beginning Monday, July 1.
The demolition work is being carried out on health and safety considerations.
The contractor for the job is, Bond Demolition, and they will be working from 8am-6pm on weekdays and they expect to finish by the end of July.
The council advises that the area will be an active site during demolition with large vehicles plying the route.
