I’ve read your article regarding the parking restrictions in Llanidloes.
I have sympathy for the residents of Llanidloes, especially those who live beyond walking distance, and with an ageing population, this could be many, people.
This action from Powys County council is not an isolated incident.
Here in Builth Wells, we have the same issue, minimum two-hour parking charges at £2.50, proposed reduction in free parking, forcing people into car parks, even if you want to pop into town for 10 minutes.
The war on motorists and local businesses continues. I think the council needs to remember they work for the people, not us working for them.
Yours sincerely,
Ian Thomas Builth Wells
