Police have issued a warning after a number of deliberate small fires caused damage to a forest in a village near Newtown.
Signs have been placed around Penarron Woods, Kerry following reports of fires in the wooded area which is popular with local walkers.
Dyfed-Powys Police is urging those responsible for lighting the fires to "stop immediately due to the danger and damage fires can cause".
"Arson is a crime," the force added. "If you see anything suspicious or have any information to who may be responsible, please get in touch."

The warning follows a joint patrol between Dyfed-Powys Police's Newtown Neighbourhood Policing Team and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service on Thursday, June 13 following reports that fires had been set in the area causing damage.
Pictures shared by Newtown Neighbourhood Policing Team show a community safety warning sign, which states that "fires in this area are being deliberately set", asking people to contact the Arson Reduction Team on 01792 705 130.
Dyfed-Powys Police also urges people to call 101 or report arson online by quoting incident reference DP-20240612-103
