TWO people were injured and taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Powys this morning (Thursday, June 13).

The accident happened on the B4594 between Painscastle and Hengoed this morning, with the road closed and opened around three hours later.

“Officers attended a report of a two-vehicle collision on the B4594 near Painscastle at approximately 10.20am today,” said Dyfed Powys Police in a statement.

“Two people were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.

“The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene and reopened shortly after 1.30pm.”
