Machynlleth based bus company, Lloyds Coaches, have added some new vehicles to their fleet that will entering their service in the next few weeks.

Some low emission, USB port fitted buses will be hitting the streets as part of Lloyds Coaches fleet of vehicles at their Machynlleth and Dolgellau depots.

The new buses will be running on the T3C and T2 TrawsCymru routes, serving areas such as Barmouth, Dolgellau, Bala, Corwen, Llangollen and Wrexham.

The new buses are Volvo Evora buses, described as being suited for driving on the tight and winding Welsh roads.

As Lloyds Coaches welcomed the newest edition to its transport service, the company also used the new arrival as an opportunity to look back with a special comparison between a new and old model of bus, supplied by the Crosville Enthusiast Club for a special visit.

Writing on social media, Lloyds Coaches said: “We were proud to welcome the Crosville Enthusiast Club to our Dolgellau and Machynlleth depots today

“We got to compare our newest bus to join the fleet with their chariot, a Bristol RELH6G, new in 1969 to Crosville.”
