A call has been put out for a new landlords at a recently refurbished 18th Century Powys pub.
The well-regarded King’s Head hotel in Meifod is looking for a new landlord and is available to let on private new free of tie lease.
According to Sidney Phillips who are dealing with applications the pub was renovated with "no expense spared and would be an attractive proposition to any prospective landlord.
They added: “The Kings Head is a very attractive 18th century Georgian hotel, stone built of immense quality and character.

“After falling into disrepair it was completely refurbished some six years ago with barely any expense spared.
“These improvements will be evident to all who view. The premises now provide an outstanding bar, restaurant and letting facilities, together with excellent outdoor areas, separate glamping pods and sports fields which accommodate the local football teams and clubs.”
They added that “the property must be viewed to be fully appreciated.”
The lease also comes with an “eight en-suite letting bedrooms, separate function room” and “two glamping pods, gardens, car parking and sports fields”.
According to the agents the pub boasts a turnover of £400,000 per annum.
