A spokesperson for MOMA said: “Nestled in the foothills of Snowdonia, the vibrant market town of Machynlleth opens its arms every August to play host to a week-long Festival of Welsh and International music, culture, and heritage.

"We are thrilled to welcome you back this summer for another year of exceptional music making in the wonderful surroundings of Y Tabernacl.

“Highlights this year include the return of internationally acclaimed Welsh pianist Llŷr Williams, Schubert’s Trout Quintet with Tom Poster and the Kaleidoscope Collective, our ever-popular male voice choir concert with Cantorion Gogledd Cymru and the sensational Tango Calor.

The festival is also hosting two Late Night by Candlelight events, one being a programme titled ‘Songs of love, exile and hope’, featuring a mix of folk, classical, jazz and improvisation with Alice Zawadzki. The second Candlelight show is an exploration of Bach’s music with Fred Thomas and friends.

Another highlight includes the celebratory end to the Festival as MOMA welcome a host of Welsh artists to the Tabernacle stage, joining forces with festival Co-Artistic Director Julius Drake.
