A man accused of drink driving in a Mercedes A-class car along the Welshpool Bypass will face trial later this year.
Benjamin Webster, 37, pleaded not guilty to the offence when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 4.
The prosecution accuses Webster, of Lymore View, Montgomery, of driving a Mercedes A45 AMG on February 27 after consuming "so much alcohol" that the proportion of it in his urine was 156 milligrams. The legal limit is 107mgms.
A trial was fixed for September 2, and it will be held Welshpool Magistrates' Court.
Webster was given unconditional bail.
