Fire crews were called out after a car caught fire on the Powys border.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called out to Clun, near the Powys border in Shropshire, yesterday evening (June 3) after reports that a car had started to smoke.
Crews from Clun rushed to the scene and had to put out the car and later found that the fire had been caused by an electrical fault.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 7.28pm on Monday, June 3, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Clun.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Clun.
“Crews used a Hosereel jet and a Thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.
“One saloon vehicle was found with smoke issuing from bonnet due to electrical fault. Crews extinguished using the hose reel jet and checked using the thermal imaging camera.”
