A celebrated Powys chef is set to bring high end cuisine to your home in his newest business.

Award-winning Jamie Tully from Builth Wells is set to launch his new culinary business which will see high quality food being cooked at your home.

Jamie was until recently working at the celebrated Chartists 1770 in Llanidloes and has now decided to take on a new creative project.

“I left chartists in February and worked on a super yacht and now I have been home a few months and have decided to set up as a private chef in mid Wales, doing it properly,” said Jamie.

“In mid Wales there is not really anywhere there is almost nowhere decent and high end to eat really. The idea is I would take that to people’s homes. I would be providing the complete package.”

The experience will not require the customer to provide “anything other than a table” and Jamie has said it is designed to be as comfortable as possible for guests.

“It will be a 10-course fine dining menu which would include some of my award winning dishes from Chartists and dishes from around the world,” said Jamie.  “I will provide crockery, cutlery. I have prepared a wine pairing menu and optional caviar courses.

“It’s a very intimate, special, I will explain all the dishes and where all the ingredients are from."

“It will be almost a freestyle menu which guests will receive at the end of the evening, not the beginning.”
