A dog wash day in Llanfyllin saw dozens of animals groomed to raise money for the purchase of a community field.

On Sunday, May 26, Woofterz Dog Grooming hosted a dog wash, with all proceeds from the event going to the council’s bid to purchase Cae Bodfach community field, frequently used for events and gatherings within Llanfyllin.

Six groomers from the business were on hand for dogs and their owners attending the event, between 10am and 4pm, with no appointment needed as people were invited to turn up for the walk-in service.
