A man who was found to be driving on a main Shropshire road with a massive amount of cocaine in his blood has received a ban.
Oliver Lambert, from Bishop's Castle, was found to have 16 times the legal limit of cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine in his blood on the A488 at Bishop's Castle on November 5 last year.
He has also pleaded guilty to charges of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a vehicle on a road without third party insurance and driving on a road without due care and attention.
Sara Beddow, prosecuting, told Telford Magistrates’ Court on May 14 that Lamber was drug-driving behind the wheel of a Citroen Berlingo on November 5. He was taken for a full evidential blood test.

Ms Beddow said he was also driving without due care and attention, and without insurance, not in accordance with a licence.
He was banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
He must also pay compensation of £350 for driving without due care and attention.
