A POWYS man has admitted engaging in sexual communication with a child and will be sentenced next month.
Ryan Hughes, 30, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday, May 24, where he entered a guilty plea to one charge of engaging in sexual communication with a child in spring 2022.
He is also charged with intentionally inciting a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity, which he denied
The Crown Prosecution Service said it is happy to proceed to sentence with a guilty plea to count two.

Hughes, of Bryn Teg, Bettws Cedewain, near Newtown, initially appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on April 23, where no pleas were entered and his case was sent to the higher court.
Hughes will be sentenced at Mold on June 27, with Judge Rhys Rowlands ordering a pre-sentence report.
The not guilty plea will be mentioned at the sentencing hearing.
