An application has been submitted for a new site for a highly regarded Powys nursery.
Plans have been submitted for the Tiny Tots Nursery in Meifod to move to a new site at Mathrafal Barns.
The Meifod-based childminders currently employs 10 childminders on part-time contracts and is now looking to move to allow it to expand the business.

In its application the business has proposed a “change of Use of Unit B from A2/B1 to Class D1 for a Nursery/Day Care Setting.
“To include the change of use of a small area of external space from agricultural field to D1.”
The move would see them convert one of the outbuildings at the farm into a nursery setting to upgrade from their current site.
Run by Tracey Frost, Tiny Tots has a good reputation locally. One parent said: “If you are looking for a setting that provides the highest level of care, experiences and fun for children Tiny Tots is the place.
“Over the last almost two years our daughter has been nothing but happy going in.”
