A 70-year-old Cheshire man has denied dangerous driving in Powys, and will face trial later this year.
Stephen Andrew Hayward entered a not guilty plea to driving dangerously on the A483 at Four Crosses on September 8 last year when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 30.
Hayward, of Manor Park, Great Barrow, near Chester, was driving a silver Land Rover Range Rover on September 8.
Prosecutor Stephen Davies told magistrates this week that the case was not suitable for summary trial.
Magistrates agreed and set the case down for trial. This is due to take place in Welshpool on July 22.
