A POWYS man accused of sending obscene and menacing voice notes and messages over social media will return to court later this month, as his case could not be dealt with this week.
Jac Jones, 29, faces one charge of sending offensive messages by public communication and appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 30.
Jones is alleged to have sent voice notes and Facebook messages that was grossly offensive on March 11.
Magistrates heard that the case could not proceed this week and it was adjourned. Jones, of Trawscoed, Llandrinio, will return to court in Welshpool on May 21.
He was granted bail.
