AN exhibition of photographs by the late Llandrindod Wells artist Steve Harris opened last week and will be available to view until June.
Steve was a long-time resident of Llandrindod and the photographs on show were taken in the 1990s and early 2000s, mostly using Leica cameras.
The images were all taken locally in the months of March, April and May and represent Steve’s attention to the natural world as well as his commitment to abstract photography.
After a long illness and his death almost two years ago, his collection of photographs passed into the care of his friend Jeff Dixon, who over the last year has worked to mount the first full-scale exhibition of Steve’s photos, something that sadly did not happen during his lifetime.
The exhibition is at Centre Celf and is open until June 6 from Tuesday-Thursday 10am-4pm and Saturdays 9am-12noon.
