A ROAD in a POWYS town was closed for eight hours last week following a crash involving a lorry.
The incident involved a single vehicle road traffic collision in Llansantffraid, which saw a lorry carrying a load crash on Winllan Road.
The incident occurred at around 1.30pm on Friday, April 19. The road reopened around 9.30pm.
“Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on Winllan Road, Llansantffraid, at 1.30pm on Friday, April 19,” said the force in a statement.
“The road was closed whilst the lorry and its contents were recovered and reopened at just after 9.30pm.
“The lorry was carrying a load which had to be transferred to another lorry before being recovered."
