The area with the worst drivers in Powys has been revealed.
Information released by the DVLA has revealed that the LD7 Postcode which covers the area surrounding Knighton was the worst performer with 307 points for the 3,788 licence holders in the area – meaning the average licence holder has 0.081 points on the board.
That's the most points per licence of any postcode in the whole of Powys.

This was followed by Presteigne where the 3,941 drivers in the area had 313 points on their licences - an average of 0.079.
This in turn was closely followed by the SY22 postcode which covers Llanfechain which had 573 points across the 8,013 drivers registered in the area - or 0.071 per licence.
The data shows that the area with least dangerous drivers was the LD1 postcode in Llandrindod Wells where there were only 423 points for the 9,500 drivers who live in the area. That gives an average of 0.044 points per licence.
This was followed by Machynlleth where there were 258 points for the 5,578 drivers in the area with the next best being Rhayader 115 points for the 2,322 drivers in the area.
