There are two restaurants in Powys that feature on the list:

Both these sites have been selected by head chef and owner of Michelin Green Star restaurant Chapters - also located in Hay-on-Wye - Mark Hugo.
Talking about his decision, Mr Hugo said: "Daphnes in Presteigne - they serve great pizza, delicious wines and brilliant seasonal salads and starters.
"Then, in the newly renovated Castle in the middle of Hay-on-Wye, the cafe there serves really great lunches - plus Sunday lunch in the winter months, and their breakfast is pretty good too.

"Had brunch here today. The cafe is inside the castle and is light and spacious with the bonus of allowing dogs inside it.
"The food was great quality and fairly priced. The bacon sandwich, bacon and pancakes, and the eggs on toast were all excellent as were the coffee and teas.
"A great option if looking for somewhere to eat in the town."
