Traffic Wales warned drivers to avoid a main route between Powys and a popular north Wales beauty spot after a crash.
The A494 has reopened, having been shut for four hours between Llanuwchllyn and Rhydymain - the main route between the lake and the Mallwyd roundabout - following a collision reported by the service just after 7.30am today.
A statement posted to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, warned that the road was closed in both directions with diversions in place.

However, the road reopened shortly before 12 noon on Saturday (April 13).
