He said: "As chairman of Newtown AFC I am delighted to announce this exciting new partnership. Montgomery Waters share similar values to my personal ones, namely ones of value, quality, and sustainability.
"These will be embedded into the club, our academy and club supporters, acting in the best interests of our community and the local environment."
Paul Delves, managing director of Montgomery Waters, was previously on the board of Shrewsbury Town FC, and Montgomery Waters was the English club's stadium sponsor between 2016 and 2023. He was a director at Shrewsbury until as recently as February.
Mr Delves, also known for his association with the Harry Tuffins brand, added: “We’re very excited that Montgomery Waters has become a partner of Newtown AFC.
"As a local business going back several generations, it’s great to be able to support a club with such a strong connection to the local community.
"We’re hoping we can contribute to developing the club on and off the pitch, for the benefit of the local region as well as the wider football community in Wales.”
