A POWYS school pupil could be on her way to the final of an art competition after her effort won a competition organised by Builth Wells Rotary Club.
The club organised the local heats of the Rotary Young Photographer Competition 2024, which was won by Ysgol Calon Cymru student Fiona Montana.
The competition was held at the school’s Llandrindod Wells campus; it aim to challenge the pupils to produce an image inspired by a theme.
The theme this year was ’rebuilding’. Each entrant was asked to provide a brief sentence explaining what the photograph represents and their inspiration behind the image.
