Drivers in northern Powys can expect delays when travelling at night for the next week as work to carry out “essential resurfacing” on the A470 is carried out.
The work will affect motorists living in and around Machynlleth, as the A470 will be closed north of the town between Cemmaes and Cwm Llinau for the next few days, as well as for part of next week.
Traffic Wales say the road will be closed tonight (Tuesday, March 26) and Wednesday between 7pm and 7am.
“Essential carriageway repair work will be taking place at two locations on the A470 from Cwm Llinau to Cemmaes,” said Traffic Wales.
