A cannabis user caught drug driving near his home in Newtown has been banned from the roads for 12 months.
Warren Jerman, aged 33, and of Afon Way, was stopped by police on Lower Canal Road, who noted that his eyes were "glazed over" on Monday, July 31, last year.
Jerman admitted to Police Constable Bufton that he had smoked cannabis over that weekend.

He pleaded guilty to driving with 3.4 micrograms of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, a metabolite of cannabis, when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 12. The legal limit is 2mcgms.
Robert Hanratty, acting on behalf of Jerman, told the court that there had been no aggravating features, no question of impairment, and the father-of-one was co-operative with police."
Magistrates decided to disqualify Jerman from driving for 12 months and ordered him to pay £85 court costs, £80 victim surcharge and a £200 fine.
