Work is progressing to renovate a popular Powys village shop - but customers will have to wait a little longer than expected to see the new additions.
Meifod Post Office and Stores has been closed since Monday, March 4, so that construction work can take place to the floor and shop front.
Mari and Mike, who run the shop, told customers that the store was to remain completely closed for around seven days.
But on Sunday (March 10), the pair gave an update to say that the shop will be shut for a few more days.
"The windows are in after a sterling day’s work by Ian and his colleague Gwyn. We are getting there slowly!

"We are sorry, but we will continue to be closed for a further few days while some further work is completed Monday and Tuesday.
"We will be looking to open as soon as we can after that but please watch this space for updates as we cannot put an exact date on it just yet."
Newspaper, magazine and telephone orders are still available by giving 01938 500 853 or 07878 457 888 a ring and can be collected daily from outside the shop.
While the Post Office is closed for refurbishment, parcels can be accepted at nearby branches in Pontrobert, Llanfair Caereinion, Llanfyllin, Llansantffraid, Guilsfield and Welshpool.
