TWO Powys men who deny assaulting another man are to face trial for the offence later this year.
Roberto Calloni and Jose Tokay, both from Brecon, deny assaulting Samuel Wilkinson, occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The alleged offence occurred in Brecon on November 12, 2022.
Tokay, 45, of Little Italy, Bell Lane, Brecon, also faces a second charge of theft; he is accused of stealing a mobile phone belonging to Mr Wilkinson.
Calloni, 49, of Orchard Street, Brecon, appeared alongside Tokay at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, March 1.
Their trial is due to commence at the same court on August 19.
